The Darling Downs Panthers are opening a expression of Interest for the following positions for the 2021 season

​

1) Assistant Coach Ruby

2) Apprentice Coach Ruby

3) Manager Ruby

All applicants should be able to demonstrate

​

a) Ability to work in a close team environment

b) Ability to follow and implement training programs and run training sessions under the guidance of the Head Coach. (Assistant and Trainee Coach)

c) Have current Blue Card or be able to successfully gain one

d) Have current drivers license and have ability to travel

e) Assistant Coach must hold a minimum at time of application Intermediate accreditation, Apprentice Coach must hold a minimum of Development.

f) For coaching positions previous experience at representative level is desirable. Assistant Coach State Age/QPL, Apprentice Coach QPL/Interdistrict.

Prior to applying we ask all candidates to consider the commitment these positions require. A minimum of two days a week training and game day are required. Coaches can expect additional time in planning and fitness sessions and the preferred candidates will use these positions to advance their coaching accreditation to further their role in the region. 

​

The Panthers environment is a  small operational group so the ability to successfully operate in and act as part of a high functioning is essential. Good communication skills and and ability to write reports are highly valued. An understanding of country and rural netball is an advantage as well as the challenges it faces. The Darling Downs Netball Association is responsible for the  creation of opportunities and pathways for regional and rural netballers, an alignment and belief in this vision is essential. 

 

All candidates will need to travel on a regular basis to both Brisbane and all over the Darling Downs. We encourage applicants from across the Darling Downs and beyond to take advantage of this opportunity.
