The Darling Downs Netball Association is delighted to be involved in the Netball Queensland's Nissan State Titles in 2022. Darling Downs Netball will be taking two teams in our 2022 Nissan State Titles campaign a 16U and 18U team

We are seeking expressions of interest for both Head Coaches , Assistant Coaches for both teams. Before applying we encourage every individual to read through the position descriptions on this page to ensure they meet the minimum criteria as a applicant.

Every applicant must include the following when submitting an application for the above positions to be considered eligible.

​

1. Coaching Resume

This should outline your current level of coaching qualifications in netball. Your past experience as a coach and outlining the level of competition this encompassed. This should be a minimum of three years, previous playing history may be included if the applicant feels this demonstrates exposure to elite level netball pathways or programs,

2. Covering Letter

This should outline why you are applying for the position and what you hope to bring if selected as part of the Darling Downs State Title teams coaching unit. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate previous experience in working with geographically dispersed teams and demonstrate an awareness of the needs and conditions that confront regional and rural netball athletes.

 

3.  Have a current and active Blue Card for working with minors

Any successful applicant will be expected to work in a cohesive and open manner within our existing coaching structure and frame work. The ability to communicate both verbally and in a written form effectively and in a timely manner will underpin any successful application. All positions will work closely and report to the Head Panthers Coach and Head of Performance throughout the 2022 campaign. As well as working with our allied Health Team and Strength and Conditioning trainer. This position will be both intense and consume a significant amount of time and energy, every applicant is encouraged to review their personal circumstances before submitting any expression of interest.
